Mr. Gilbert Gargour

Chairman

He has been a Director since 1981, has served as Chairman since 1997 and was appointed CEO in 1997. He is a citizen of Lebanon and the United Kingdom and holds an MBA from Harvard University. He has served as a senior executive at Gargour UK and has been a Director of the Egyptian Finance Company since it was founded. He is a co-owner of Intage and is the brother of Mr. Alain Gargour and Mr. Toufick Gargour, both Lecico Directors and co-owners of Intage.

Mr. Taher Gargour

Managing Director and CEO

Managing Director, joined Lecico in January 2005. He was appointed Managing Director in July 2012. He is a citizen of Lebanon and the United States and holds an MA from SAIS-Johns Hopkins. Prior to joining Lecico, he worked for seven years in the EMEA research department of HSBC Securities, covering Egyptian equities and rising to head the EMEA research team. Mr. Taher Gargour is the son of the Chairman and co-owner of Lecico Egypt, Mr. Gilbert Gargour.

Mr. Mohamed Hassan

Finance Director

Graduated from the Faculty of Commerce accounting major, at Alexandria University in 1987, he worked in ABCO Egypt for 3 years, and in 1990 he joined Lecico as a cost accountant. Since then he has served in various functions in the Finance department and finally, in December 2014 he was appointed as the Finance Director. Mr. Hassan is also involved in investor relations.

Mr. David Gater

Supply Chain Director

 Mr. Gater joined Lecico after spending 2005 on secondment from Sanitec as a part time consultant implementing a Total Quality Management system. Mr. Gater is a British citizen with 22 years industry experience working in many countries and functions. Mr. Gater has an MBA from Staffordshire University in the UK.

Eng. Elie Youssef

Group Manufacturing Director

Presently serves as Production Director for all Sanitary ware and tiles group factories. He has been the Manager of the Lecico for Ceramics factory since 2008. Engineer Youssef has been the Plant Manager of Lecico Lebanon for the past 4 years and has worked for Lecico Lebanon for the past 12 years. He holds a DESS from St. Joseph’s University in Lebanon.

Eng. Emad Nasr Ayoub

Human Resources Director

Emad has been the Human Resources Director for Lecico since August 2010. He holds a B. Sc. in Civil Engineering from Alexandria University and a M. Sc. In Engineering and Management from Michigan, USA. Emad worked for large organizations like Vinci, Veolia and ABB Susa. He is in charge of the HR aspects for Lecico’s vast workforce. Emad is the Co-Chair of the HR Core Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce, the Chairman of Human Power Association – Egypt and a member of the Work and Social Insurance committees at the Federation of Egyptian Industries
